Bokveld is a large historic stone house which offers accommodation for 6 people. The house has 3 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds. The house features 2 roomy living areas and has access to a garden. Braai facilities are provided. LED lighting is available throughout the house in case of power outages. Safe, off-street parking is also available.

This lovely old sandstone house, situated directly opposite the Dutch Reformed Church, was donated by the original builder and owner to the church. For a number of years this house was used as a clinic, and hundreds of children were born here – many of them were later baptised in the church opposite, and eventually married there. Tourists visiting Nieuwoudtville who were born in the house never pay for their accommodation, and quite a few tourists have returned to their birthplace and stayed in Bokveld.

Bokveld has been extensively restored. Throughout a balance was sought between the aesthetic and the historical on the one hand and the functional on the other.
