Motorbike Trips

Motorcyclists are most welcome. Nieuwoudtville is a small town in the Northern Cape only 10 km from the boundary of the Western Cape. Increasingly motorcyclists are visiting the Northern Cape for off road trips.

Northern Cape is ideal for off road drives. The province has only 4% of South Africa’s population and the province in is 30% of South Africa’s surface. There are thousands of spectacular kilometers of gravel roads.

Van Zijl Guesthouses can provide accommodation in our six guesthouses and those who wish to camp can stay in our Olive Caravan Park. There is a filling station in town.

It is a must for all motorcycling enthusiasts to view the splendid collection of antique motorbikes at the Protea Motors Garage in Nieuwoudtville.
