Smallest Brunsvigia

Brunsvigia comptonii. In our area all Amaryllidaceae of which Brunsvigia is one of the genera, mostly flower in late summer through to early autumn. This minute Brunsvigia flowers within a matter of days after a heavy downpour. Flowering is triggered by rain and it is a case of no rain no flowers. If you are here at the right time we will direct you to where these flowers can be seen.
