Brunsvigia bosmaniae does not flower every year. Unless 25mm of rain falls in March the bulbs won`t flower. When they do flower, and the pictures tell it all, it must surely be one of the great floral specticles in the world. Thousands of them. The bulb belongs to the family Amaryllidaceae.
