Romulea Trekpad
Romulea sabulosa.The old Trekpad is a sliver of Renosterveld just outside town,flanked on either side by wheat farming. Can you imagine what the Renosterveld looked like before the arrival of tractors and ploughs? Every year, and you can set your clock by it, this spectacular Romulea flowers between the 23rd and 29th of August. Pick up a map up from us and we will explain where the Trekpad is and from which direction it should be approached.
